Join us on Saturday, April 9th for our very popular series of Salsa workshops with Diane White. You may sign up for both workshops and the dance, or pick your favorite workshop. Diane will be building on the material from the first workshop in the second workshop, so unless you have Salsa dance experience, we recommend that you take the first workshop if you plan to take the second workshop.

These workshops are suitable for dancers of all levels, from beginner through intermediate.

• A - 2:30 PM - 3:45 PM: Introduction to Salsa
  (all levels, no partner needed). Diane will start with an introductory warm-up at 2:30 pm sharp: Salsa "shines" for dancing solo or with a partner will be the focus of the extended warm-up. The class will then proceed to lead and follow figures, beginning with a basic figure, incorporating "exits" as times allows, with transitions into the "shines".
• 3:45 - 4:00 PM: Brief Practice Time
• B - 4:00 PM - 5:15 PM: Continuing On with Salsa
  (all levels, no partner needed). The second class will build upon the skills and figures introduced in the first workshop, while adding new figures to increase your dance repertoire.
• 5:15 - 5:30 PM: Brief Practice Time
• 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM. Dinner break
• 7:30 PM. Doors reopen with DJ music
  until introductory dance lesson begins.
• 8:00 PM - 9:00 PM: Introduction to Swing Dance with John and Sandra Tomeny
  Local dance instructors, John and Sandra Tomeny, will teach an introduction to swing dance for newcomers. This lesson is free with admission to the dance.
• 9:00 PM - Midnight: Swing Dance with DJ Spin Doctor and Diane White.
  Music will include a mix of swing, Salsa, rhythm & blues, Motown, 50's Rock n' Roll, Latin and ballroom.

Registration Fees & Policies: Register for both workshops and the evening dance, all-inclusive for $25.00, or select individual, 75-minute workshops. A partner is not required for the workshops or dance. Many single dancers attend. We attempt to balance the leader/follower ratio of the workshops.

Advance Discounts
Each workshop is $10.00 and the evening dance is $8.00 (including the complimentary swing dance lesson at 8:00 PM). Or you may register for both workshops and the dance for the advance discount rate of $25.00. Advance registration is not required, but the advance discount expires at midnight on Friday, April 8. All rates are per-person.
Standard rates apply after April 8: $11.00 per workshop + $8.00/Sat. dance.

Payment: We can accept checks and money orders only in US funds. Credit card payments may be made only in advance, online when you register. Payment instructions will be provided at the end of the online registration process.

Evening Dance: There will be a Salsa/Swing dance on Saturday night. Tickets for Saturday's dance and lesson are $8.00 in advance or at the door, (or included in all-inclusive pass).
